Enugu State Ogene Musician Okezie Nwamba, from Ogui Nike Enugu, has been shot dead by men of the Nigeria Police Force in Enugu.
He was invited to perform Ogene music at a burial. After the burial, the police told him to come to their office to perform for them before he could go. He was shot several times in the back while setting up his instruments. They said it’s accidental discharge but from the look of things it’s not. His body is riddled with up to 8bulllets. They dumped him in their Hilux vehicle at UNTH Enugu and fled Okezie is a father of two sons.
