Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is guiding the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the petition for her recall.
Akpoti-Uduaghan, who defied the Kogi government’s convoy ban by holding her scheduled rally on Tuesday, landed on a helicopter, made the allegation while addressing supporters at the homecoming gathering.
According to her, INEC is helping the petitioners in their quest to perfect their illicit acts.
“From my personal perspective, what I see INEC doing is aiding and guiding petitioners on how to perfect their illicit acts.
“The first time the petition was submitted, they didn’t have an address, phone numbers and all of that, but INEC is out to guide them on how to submit information that will perfect the petition.
“The petitioners, who were from the other party, the APC, now submitted a letterhead with an address that does not exist,” Akpoti-Udughan stated.
