In a remarkable display of integrity and courage, Officer Ugochukwu, a dedicated Immigration officer, turned down a hefty bribe from a notorious suspect wanted for heinous crimes. The suspect, a depraved serial killer identified as Ezeani, also known as Ichie Billion, is infamous for burying victims alive in a soakaway on his property in Umumba, Ezeagu, Enugu. His horrific actions, along with his occult group, have caused widespread fear in the community.
According to exclusive information shared by a close relative of Officer Ugochukwu, who wishes to remain anonymous, the officer’s unwavering resolve prevented the suspect from escaping justice. The relative provided a detailed account of the incident, including the officer’s official Facebook account, where he shared the story.

On a Wednesday afternoon, Officer Ugochukwu was performing his duties at a checkpoint along Seme Road, Gbaji. He noticed a motorcycle carrying a young man whose appearance seemed familiar—his face flashed back in the officer’s memory due to recent viral social media images of the suspect, who was on the run.
The officer attempted to stop the bike, but the suspect refused to halt. Showing quick thinking and determination, Ugochukwu mounted another bike and pursued him. He eventually caught up with the suspect at another immigration checkpoint ahead.
Approaching the suspect, Ugochukwu instructed the bike rider to turn back. He then entered the same bike with the suspect, leading him back to the checkpoint. During the ride, the suspect began questioning what he was accused of, denying any wrongdoing. Ugochukwu promptly showed him photos of the suspect’s picture circulating online.
The suspect denied being the person in the images, claiming he was just returning from a bank in Agbara and insisting he wasn’t a native doctor. However, after some tense moments, he made a shocking attempt to bribe his way out. He offered Ugochukwu N10 million along with an iPhone 13 Pro Max and a Tecno Camon 19, claiming he was innocent and that he was being set up because he was about to become the community’s traditional ruler.
Refusing to be corrupted, Officer Ugochukwu stood firm. He declined the bribe, took photos of the suspect, and alerted his superiors with the viral images. Recognising him as the wanted serial killer, he quickly handcuffed the suspect and transported him to the Seme Border Patrol Command for further investigation.
