Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State has reiterated his unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasising his dedication to advancing the party’s manifesto through purposeful, people-centric governance in Kogi.

During an official visit to the APC national secretariat on Friday, Governor Ododo expressed his heartfelt appreciation to party leaders and acknowledged the strategic leadership that continues to drive the party’s success.

He specifically commended APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and the entire members of the National Working Committee for their tireless commitment and leadership. Ododo also lauded President Bola Tinubu’s bold and transformative policies, which he said are already making significant impacts on Nigeria’s economy and setting the stage for long-term growth.

In his words, “I stand before you with deep gratitude and purpose to thank our great party, the APC, for the steadfast support shown to me, not just during my election campaign but throughout my tenure as the Chief Servant of Kogi State.”

He explained that the confidence placed in him by the party has fueled his resolve to serve with humility and excellence, reinforcing his dedication to the party’s ideals and vision.

“Our administration embraces the principle of servant leadership, which resonates deeply with our people,” Ododo stated. “In just 14 months, we have achieved significant milestones—stabilising security, boosting agriculture, advancing infrastructure, and expanding access to social services. These modest but impactful efforts have strengthened our party’s credibility and increased public trust.”

Highlighting his inclusive governance approach, Ododo noted the successful promotion of youth and women’s participation in leadership roles. “This strategy is creating a new wave of decision-makers, injecting fresh ideas into governance, and restoring hope among our citizens,” he added.

He emphasized that this approach has deepened the people’s support for APC in Kogi, positioning the party for even greater success in the 2027 elections.

Expressing his gratitude, Ododo acknowledged “the dedication, hard work, and strategic vision of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the National Working Committee. Their leadership has solidified APC’s status as the party of choice across Nigeria.”

He also paid tribute to President Bola Tinubu, stating, “We are grateful for his bold policies, which are reshaping Nigeria’s economy and laying a solid foundation for the future.
