Speaking at the ceremony, Tinubu narrated how he found it difficult to watch the Super Falcons’ comeback win over Morocco.

The President said, “Honestly, I didn’t want to watch the match. I don’t want high blood pressure, but our people came in and tuned my TV to that channel.

“When it was 2-0, I got very offended and restless, but I was there watching the resilience of the team.

What you almost did was make me hungrier because your mother, the First Lady, was in the kitche, almost abandoning my dinner, and she kept running, ‘We have won.’ I said, ‘You have not won.’”
