The Kogi State Government has congratulated Mr. Samuel Adeyemi Olumode on his appointment as the new Controller General (CG) of the Federal Fire Service by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The government has in a press statement on Thursday signed by the Hon. Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, noted that the appointment is a clear recognition of Mr. Olumode’s dedication, hard work, and professionalism.

The statement reads, “We’re grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for continuing to demonstrate his trust in the capacity of Kogi people to contribute significantly to the nation’s growth and development.

“Kogi State takes great pride in this achievement, and we’re confident that Mr. Olumode, in his new role, will bring about meaningful reforms and advancements in the Federal Fire Service, showcasing the exceptional talent and leadership of Kogi people on the national stage.

“His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Governor of Kogi State, believes that Mr. Olumode’s leadership will further elevate the status of Kogi State at the national level, and he assures the full support of the Kogi State Government as Mr. Olumode embarks on this important national responsibility.
