In his remarks, Chief Ossai thanked members for their support through challenging times, acknowledging that earlier peace appeals had not fully succeeded. He announced plans for more decisive action to restore the prestige of Ohaneze Lagos.

Special Guest High Chief Okafor urged all members to unite, register with their local Ohanaeze branches, and pay dues to ensure the success of Igbo Day 2025. He pledged personal resources toward reconciliation and revealed ongoing peace efforts with key stakeholders.

Speakers, including Lolo Chimezie Maduka, called for the organisation to remain free from partisan politics while representing Igbo interests. The Women’s Wing reaffirmed its unity pledge, and the Anioma Women Lagos Wing attended for the first time, promising active support.
