PRESIDENT TINUBU NOMINATES 32 ADDITIONAL AMBASSADORS. FULL LIST

President Bola Tinubu has forwarded a new batch of 32 ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation, just days after submitting an initial list of three envoys.

In two letters addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Tinubu urged lawmakers to give the nominations prompt attention. He asked the Senate to “consider and confirm expeditiously” 15 nominees as career ambassadors and 17 others as non-career ambassadors.

According to the President, the list includes “four women on the career ambassadors’ list and six women on the non-career ambassadors’ list.”

  5. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu) – Former Governor of Enugu State
  6. Tasiu Musa Maigari (Katsina) – Former Speaker, Katsina House of Assembly
  7. Yakubu N. Gambo (Plateau) – Former Plateau Commissioner, ex-Deputy Executive Secretary, Universal Basic Education Commission
  8. Prof. Nora Ladi Daduut (Plateau) – Former Senator
  9. Otunba Femi Pedro (Lagos) – Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State
  10. Chief Femi Fani-Kayode (Osun) – Former Aviation Minister
