The Kogi State Government has mourned the passing of Professor Albert Anjorin, describing him as a mentor to generations of medical professionals.

A condolence message signed by Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Communications, reads, “The Government and People of Kogi State received with deep sadness the news of the passing of one of our finest intellectuals and distinguished sons, Professor Albert Anjorin.

“Professor Anjorin was a pioneer in the field of Pathology in Nigeria, a mentor to generations of medical professionals, and a man whose brilliance, humility, and commitment to humanity earned him admiration across the world. From his early days in Orokere-Amuro to his rise as a respected scholar and administrator, he carried the values of excellence, integrity, and service with great devotion.
