Rail Love Ride Valentine 2026, riding from Lagos to Ibadan back to Lagos

Love met leisure on the rails as hundreds of excited passengers gathered for the 2026 Valentine Train Experience — a special Lagos–Ibadan return journey to Lagos designed to celebrate romance, culture and entertainment uniquely.

The themed ride, tagged Railway Valentine & Love Train Ride, departed from Ebute Meta Railway station in Lagos and travelled to Ibadan before rerunning to Lagos later in the evening
The event was organised by O’Jez Entertainment under the chairmanship of Mr Joseph Anita Odubant in collaboration with the Nigerians railway corporation led by Dr Kayode Opeaifa.
Star-Studded Passenger List
The train was filled with anticipated Nigerians, celebrities, creatives and members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, adding glamour to the experience.

Passengers described the ride as “a party on rails,” with the coaches hosting a different activity, ensuring there was never a dull moment.
Business Meets Celebration
Beyond the fun, the event also strengthened institutional ties. Representatives of O’Jez Entertainment and the management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation held a brief onboard meeting to discuss future collaborations and recurring themed tourism rides across Nigeria.
Organisers confirmed that the Valentine ride is part of a broader plan to promote rail tourism and reposition train travel as a lifestyle and leisure experience — not just transportation.
Grand Finale in Lagos
The train finally returned to Ebute Metta, where passengers were treated to a closing banquet reception, networking session and final dance party — marking the end of a full day of romance, music and cultural celebration.
