Kemi Adeosun’s Husband Laid to Rest as Dignitaries Attend Service

 

Anthony Adeosun, husband of former Nigerian Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun, has been laid to rest. His burial service was held on Thursday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Towers, on Victoria Island, Lagos.

Anthony, a well-known businessman, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, at the age of 62. His death was announced in a statement by Rev. C. A. Adeosun on behalf of the family.

According to the statement, Anthony was a devoted Christian who made a positive impact on everyone who knew him.

Several top political figures attended the service, including former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, former governors Babatunde Fashola of Lagos and Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, and Florence Ajimobi, widow of late Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi. Others present were former African Development Bank President Akinwunmi Adesina, Nigeria Revenue Service Executive Chairman Dr Zacch Adedeji, and many more.

Anthony is survived by his wife Kemi, his children, and his siblings, including Adewale Adeosun, founder of Kuramo Capital.

After the service, the family proceeded to the private burial.
