4 2nd Edition Theme; Ever Green Celebrating Timeless Work of Literature Under the “Evergreen,” the 2024 festival paid homage to iconic creators such as Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the late, Onyeka Onwenu, the late Ama Ata Aidoo, Wole Soyinka, Sade Adu, and the late Chinua Achebe.
These luminaries have left an indelible legacy, inspiring audiences across generations with their timeless works—a legacy that the Write with Music Festival honours and seeks to perpetuate. speaking during the Opening Ceremony, Francisca Okwulehie inaugurated the festival with a powerful address, reaffirming her commitment to promoting better lyrical content and enhancing creative expression through a blend of music and literature. A Celebration of Timeless Creativity Dynamic Panel Sessions The festival’s panel discussions tackled a variety of thought-provoking topics. Mental Health and Digital Burnout Moderated by Zoe Octavia Obazee, this session highlighted the importance of taking breaks from social media to avoid digital burnout. Sandra Anyahaebi led participants in a mindfulness exercise, leaving a lasting impact on attendees. Literature and Songwriting Onyinye Ubah moderated a panel featuring literary and musical experts, including Anwuli Ojogwu, Oluchi Odii, and Eriata Oribhabor.
