Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia is facing significant financial losses as his ongoing divorce from Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams takes a decisive turn in her favour.

Nigerian businessman, Simon Guobadia, who left his Nigerian wife to marry Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star Porsha Williams,
He is set to part with money and property amid his bitter divorce.

The estranged couple had been embroiled in a legal dispute over the enforcement of a prenuptial agreement, which they both signed before their November 2022 wedding. Despite multiple delays in court proceedings—some due to Guobadia’s recent custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)—a ruling has now been made.

According to Us Weekly, the prenup will require Guobadia to split the equity of his $7 million pre-marital home, known as the Marital Residence, with Williams. He will also be responsible for covering significant debts and expenses for her benefit.

Guobadia, 61, reportedly argued that he only agreed to the terms of the prenup based on alleged “misrepresentations” by Williams, including claims that she was leaving the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise. However, the court did not rule in his favour.

Williams, 43, filed for divorce in February 2024 after just 15 months of marriage. The split quickly turned contentious, with financial stakes and personal allegations at the forefront of the legal battle.

Now back in Nigeria following his detainment, Guobadia faces the reality of a costly separation and a high-profile loss in court.
