Armed bandits led by kingpin Babaro have stormed Kankara LGA of Katsina state and taken over the entire area.

Security analyst, Bakatsine, revealed in a post on his X handle that the bandits have already killed several people and banned farming activities in the area.

Kankara has long been a hotbed of terrorist attacks and kidnapping activities in Katsina state.

Authorities are yet to comment on the situation as of the time of filing this report.
