Zamfara Federal lawmaker Renovates 80 Cemeteries As Constituency Project
Hon. Kabiru Amadu, popularly known as Mai Palace, has renovated 80 cemeteries as a constituency project in Zamfara.
Speaking during the project inauguration on Tuesday, the lawmaker representing Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency, announced that the initiative is part of his constituency projects.
“Today, we embarked on the renovation of 80 cemeteries as part of my 2nd anniversary as a second-term member of the House of Representatives., Rep members receive from 500M to 1B each for Constituency Project each person.
“We had noticed the dilapidated conditions of our cemeteries across my constituency. All of us are going to be buried here, and we must ensure we improve the conditions of our last home.
“In Islam, we know that keeping cemeteries in good condition prevents calamities and disasters in society,” he claimed.
Also, he promised to pay allowances to the cemetery guards and provide the workers with working tools every month.
