“Ododo Sends Congratulations to Edo Governor on One Year in Office”

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has congratulated the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his first year in office.

 

In a personally signed congratulatory message, Governor Ododo commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for the strides recorded in Edo State within just one year, noting that his focus on good governance, infrastructural renewal, youth empowerment, and economic reforms has placed the state on a path of sustainable progress.

 

While applauding the Edo State Governor’s visionary and people-centered leadership, Ododo described Okpebholo as a committed development enthusiast and a patriotic leader whose commitment to service reflects the ideals of responsive and accountable governance.

 

According to Ododo, “In one year, Governor Okpebholo has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of what governance means, which are service, inclusion, and progress. His efforts in repositioning Edo’s economy and improving the welfare of the people deserve commendation.

 

“On behalf of the government and good people of Kogi State, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to him and the people of Edo State.”

 

The Governor prayed for continued peace, unity, and prosperity in Edo State, while expressing optimism that Governor Okpebholo’s second year in office will bring even greater development and renewed hope for the people.

 

He reiterated the commitment of Kogi State to strengthening inter-state collaboration for regional development and national unity, stressing that both states share a long history of cooperation and brotherhood that should continue to be nurtured for mutual growth.

 

Governor Ododo wished his Edo counterpart continued wisdom, good health, and divine guidance as he continues to serve his people and contribute to the progress of Nigeria.
