NNPP presidential ticket not exclusive to Kwankwaso, National Chairman outlines plans beyond Kano
NNPP National Chairman Ahmed Ajuji says there is no real party crisis, only disciplinary actions against members who refused to appear before a committee.
He says expelled members have no standing, and court cases against the party have not succeeded. He emphasises NNPP’s open membership and says the party’s presidential ticket is open to any Nigerian, not just Kwankwaso.
Ajuji notes the party aims to expand beyond Kano, with plans to win multiple states and possibly form alliances before 2027.
He argues that insecurity in the North stems from unemployment and lack of opportunities, and criticises the current government for not adequately addressing security or economic hardship.
He asserts NNPP would prioritise education, healthcare, and improving security if it wins the presidency, while stressing the importance of protecting the country’s territorial integrity.
