{"id":10121,"date":"2026-01-04T10:45:22","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T10:45:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/?p=10121"},"modified":"2026-01-04T10:47:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T10:47:07","slug":"anthony-joshuas-friends-funeral-to-hold-in-london-mosque-on-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/2026\/01\/04\/anthony-joshuas-friends-funeral-to-hold-in-london-mosque-on-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Anthony Joshua\u2019s friends\u2019 funeral to hold in London mosque on Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<section id=\"article-page\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-8\">\n<article class=\"single-article\">\n<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>The Janaza (funeral) prayer service for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, close friends of boxing star Anthony Joshua, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 4, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The bodies of Sina Ghami and Latif \u201cLatz\u201d Ayodele were repatriated to the United Kingdom following the fatal crash in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>The service will begin at 10 am at the London Central Mosque, 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10122\" src=\"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/uu.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"166\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A Saturday statement announcing the funeral, shared by Boxing King Media, disclosed this, saying: \u201cOur thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"read-also\">\n<p>tragically died in a road crash in Nigeria late last year, on Monday, December 29, 2025, where Joshua was also involved but escaped with minor injuries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The accident occurred on the Lagos\u2013Ibadan Expressway in Makun, Ogun State, when the Lexus SUV carrying Anthony Joshua collided with a stationary truck, killing his strength and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami, and personal trainer, Latif \u201cLatz\u201d Ayodele, at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The funeral in London will allow family, friends, and the boxing community to pay their final respects.<\/p>\n<p>A Boxing King Media representative added, \u201cSina and Latz were more than colleagues\u2014they were family to AJ.
