It aims to make cross-border travel easier, support regional integration, and improve compliance with international standards.<\/p>\n<p>Travellers are required to present documents such as a valid international passport, driver\u2019s license, vehicle registration, insurance, and a Carnet de Passages en Douane (CPD) at the point of entry. Once verified, Customs will issue a Temporary Vehicle Admission Permit valid for up to 90 days, with a possible 30-day extension if approved.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicles under this arrangement can move freely within Nigeria but must not be sold, rented, modified, or used for commercial purposes. On exit, the vehicle and customs clearance documents must be presented.
