The Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP, reportedly attacked the \u2018Garahamojili\u2019 camp of the Nigerian Army in Adamawa State on Tuesday, killing two soldiers during a 20-minute firefight.<\/p>\n

This was disclosed by Sahel security expert, Brant Philip via his X handle.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the insurgents overran the camp, set it ablaze and destroyed three military vehicles.<\/p>\n

They also allegedly carted away weapons and ammunition during the assault.<\/p>\n

ISWAP claimed the attack was carried out as part of its recently launched \u201cBurn the Camps\u201d offensive.<\/p>\n
