A Borno-based pastor, Kallamu Musa-Dikwa<\/span><\/span>, has raised serious concerns about his safety following his public allegations against the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The cleric had earlier accused CAN of receiving \u20a67 billion from former President Goodluck Jonathan<\/span><\/span> to campaign against the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate at the time, Muhammadu Buhari<\/span><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pastor Alleges Threats from DSS<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Speaking at a press conference in Kaduna, Musa-Dikwa claimed that operatives of the Department of State Services<\/span><\/span> (DSS) have been pursuing him since he made the allegations public.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to him, DSS officials detained and pressured him into signing a document retracting his claims. He alleged that the statement was written by the operatives and that he was forced to copy and sign it under duress.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThey forced me to sign and promised to link me up with the CAN President for us to \u2018settle\u2019,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The CAN President at the time, Ayo Oritsejafor<\/span><\/span>, was specifically mentioned in connection with the alleged attempt to resolve the matter privately.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Claims of Coercion and Intimidation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Musa-Dikwa described his treatment as degrading, saying he was handled \u201clike a common criminal.\u201d He further alleged that the DSS intends to publish the signed document in national newspapers to discredit him and portray his earlier claims as false.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pastor insisted that he only complied out of fear for his life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI was alone with them and felt they could harm me or frame me,\u201d he explained.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Pressure to Recant<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Beyond the DSS, Musa-Dikwa also claimed that several Christian leaders\u2014including the Abuja chairman of CAN\u2014have urged him to publicly withdraw his allegations and deny that any money exchanged hands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite the mounting pressure, the cleric maintains that his claims are true and says he spoke out in the interest of the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Political Motives Denied<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Addressing speculation, Musa-Dikwa denied any political backing or affiliation with the APC. He stated that he has no connection with Muhammadu Buhari or former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi<\/span><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He also dismissed claims of sponsorship by media figures such as Sam Nda-Isaiah<\/span><\/span>, emphasising that his actions were independent and motivated by patriotism.<\/strong><\/p>\n
