Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has reacted to a viral slogan that he would serve one term in office.<\/p>\n

Yusuf said he would spend one term with the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, and his second term would be in the All Progressives Congress, APC.<\/p>\n

The governor was addressing a group in a video while responding to the Hausa \u2018Falle Daya\u2019 (One term) slogan against him.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cActually, it is only one term in the NNPP party. We will do the second term in the APC.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs for the ADC party that they have returned to, it will not even do one term, not ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yusuf recently joined the APC from the NNPP amid a political crisis with his estranged political godfather, Rabiu Kwankwaso.<\/p>\n

Announcing his defection, the governor said his decision was taken \u201cin the best interest of the people of Kano state\u201d.<\/p>\n
