A fresh political debate is brewing across Nigeria\u2019s opposition space as several politicians who rose to prominence during the 2023 \u201cObidient\u201d movement are reportedly seeking a return to a new political coalition, NDC, after previously defecting to the ruling party and the ruling party denied them 2-27 ticket.<\/p>\n

Many supporters of the Obidient movement, built around the popularity of Peter Obi<\/span><\/span>, have accused some former Labour Party lawmakers and political figures of abandoning the movement after benefiting from its massive grassroots support from Peter Obi personality during the last general elections.<\/p>\n
