Upon receiving the report, NIMASA&#8217;s Deep Blue Forward Operating Base quickly deployed armed personnel to assist.<\/p>\n<p>Five crew members aboard MT LADY MARTINA sustained injuries and were evacuated for medical treatment. The tanker is currently aground along the Bonny Channel, while MV MAERSK VALPARAISO remains at anchorage awaiting a damage assessment.<\/p>\n<p>NIMASA has launched a full investigation into the collision and established a Situation Monitoring Room to coordinate ongoing response efforts.
