Between March and May 2026, the command generated nearly \u20a69.8 billion \u2014 a 448% increase compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>Comptroller Abdullahi Kaila attributed the growth to better compliance from traders and the effective use of the B&#8217;Odogwu Unified Customs Management System.<\/p>\n<p>In the same period, the command intercepted several illegal items, including 800 parcels of cannabis sativa and unregistered pharmaceutical products. The seized goods have a total Duty Paid Value of over \u20a6500 million.<\/p>\n<p>Kaila said the command remains committed to fighting smuggling and protecting public health and local industries.
