Everybody says, “Friends are wicked, friends are scam”<\/p>\n

But when sunshine was sick, Chidera stayed.<\/p>\n

When Blessing was sick & struggling, Beady stayed.<\/p>\n

When Alex passed away, Vintage and IK Ogbonna stayed.<\/p>\n

Maybe friendship is not the problem.<\/p>\n

Maybe your character is.<\/p>\n

Before you complain about bad friends, ask yourself:<\/p>\n

Are you the kind of friend a good person would fight to keep?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every time I see people say, “Friends are wicked,” “Friends are bad,” “Friendship is a scam,” or “You can never trust anyone,” I shake my head.<\/p>\n

The truth is that good friends still exist in Nigeria. Loyal friends still exist. Friends you can trust with your life still exist.<\/p>\n

The problem is that many people who constantly complain about bad friends never stop to ask themselves an important question:<\/p>\n

What kind of friend am I?<\/strong><\/p>\n

You cannot consistently give dishonesty, selfishness, envy, and disloyalty and expect to attract genuine people into your life.<\/p>\n

In many cases, you attract what you are, not what you want.<\/p>\n

We’ve seen countless examples of true friendship in this country lets mention few here.<\/p>\n

When sunshine\u00a0 was sick, we all saw how Chidera, the content creator, stood by her side. He was not a relative. He was not obligated. Yet he remained present, ensuring she got the support she needed until she passed away and was finally laid to rest. Chidera was instrumental throughout that entire process. \"\"<\/p>\n

We also saw how the owner of Beadysword TV, Beady Nnanna, stood by her friend, Blessing, throughout her health struggles. She spent weeks in the hospital with her, advocating for proper medical care from Doctors and nurses , speaking up on her behalf in the media and supporting her through difficult moments. Unfortunately, Blessing passed away. Even then, Beady helped created a WhatsApp group raise funds, handled difficult responsibilities, pursued accountability regarding the hospital, and accompanied her remains to her hometown for burial when she could easily have stayed back. That is friendship\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

.Today, we are witnessing the same thing with Vintage and IK Ogbonna during the health challenges and burial of the late Alex Ekubo. Growing up, many of us heard all sorts of stories and stereotypes about people from different places and backgrounds. However, watching Chief Francis Nwaogwugwu Udochukwu, popularly known as Vintage, and IK Ogbonna stand firmly beside their late friend’s family for days has been a reminder that loyalty still exists, even in death.<\/p>\n

All the people I have mentioned above, at some point in their friends’ lives and struggles, put business aside, left their comfort zones, and stayed committed\u2014not because they were related by blood, not because there was anything to gain, but simply because Sunshine, Blessing, and Alex were their friends.<\/p>\n

Can the same be said of you?<\/p>\n

Can you stand faithfully beside your friend or their family when others have turned away?<\/p>\n

Thees individuals mentioned above remained present throughout their friends’ health struggles and burial activities. They showed up when it mattered most.some of us are friends wirh people when things are going on well,<\/p>\n

These examples remind us of something important: friendship is not the problem. Bad character is.<\/p>\n

Good friendship remains one of God’s greatest blessings. Having people who celebrate your victories, support you during difficult times, and remain loyal when there is nothing to gain is priceless.<\/p>\n

Instead of constantly saying there are no good friends, focus on becoming a good friend yourself. Be the kind of person who is trustworthy, loyal, supportive, and dependable.<\/p>\n

Because when you become the right person, you are more likely to attract the right people.<\/p>\n

Money is important. Fame is important. Connections are important. But sometimes, a genuine friend can be one of the greatest gifts life will ever give you.<\/p>\n

Good friends still exist.<\/p>\n

The real question is: Are you the kind of friend a good person would want to keep?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Srudies has shown that most people who complain alot t about bad friends, Some of them are the very people who cannot be trusted, who show little loyalty, and who are always looking for ways to take advantage of others.
