Seyi Makinde, the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), has named former Department of State Services (DSS) Director-General Lawal Musa Daura as his running mate ahead of the 2027 presidential election.<\/p>\n
The announcement was made during the party’s National Convention held in Bauchi.<\/p>\n
Makinde said the opposition’s goal goes beyond simply winning power. He stressed that the real mission is to give Nigerians a genuine alternative\u2014one that can rescue the nation and secure its future.<\/p>\n
He also urged citizens to look beyond political slogans and empty promises from candidates as the election draws closer.<\/p>\n
