British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho \u201cTiny\u201d Ubiribo, popularly known as Ego, has died after suffering complications from a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand.<\/p>\n

The ocial media influencer has died after undergoing a penile filler procedure while on holiday in Thailand with his wife.\"\"<\/p>\n

Igho Ubiribo, 43, died in March after receiving 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine at a clinic in Bangkok. An inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court heard the details last month.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail, Ubiribo began feeling chest pain and passed out twice while getting a massage with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, after the procedure.<\/p>\n

He was rushed by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors found a pulmonary embolism \u2014 a blood clot that blocks a vessel in the lungs. He lost consciousness again before a recommended CT scan could be done.<\/p>\n

Resuscitation efforts lasted over 100 minutes, but Ubiribo died in the early hours of 6 March.<\/p>\n

A post-mortem carried out in the UK found that cellular material in his lungs matched the hyaluronic acid used in the injection, supporting the cause of death as a pulmonary embolism.<\/p>\n

Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that Ubiribo died “as the result of a cosmetic procedure abroad.”<\/p>\n

Ubiribo, who had around 185,000 Instagram followers, was buried in London in May. Nigerian singer Davido was among those who attended his funeral.<\/p>\n

Medical experts have long warned about the risks of penile filler treatments. Professor Vaibhav Modgil, an NHS andrology specialist, said the procedure can have devastating consequences for patients.<\/p>\n
