\nThe National Coordinator of the movement, Sanyaolu Juwon, made this announcement on Thursday in Abuja, stating, \u201cThe Take It Back Movement (TIB), side-by-side with other organizers and organizations will on August 10, lead a monumental one-million-man protest in each of the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis event will mark a critical juncture in our nationwide EndBadGovernanceInNigeria campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt started as a planned 10-day protest but has evolved into a sustained and widespread movement, drawing participants from every corner of Nigeria and the diaspora.\u201d<\/p>\n
The protest which began on August 1 and is set to conclude on Saturday, August 10.<\/p>\n
It aims to draw attention to the severe hardships facing citizens, urging all levels of government to take action.<\/p>\n
Despite being hijacked by criminal elements, the protest has seen significant participation nationwide, particularly in the northern states.<\/p>\n
President Bola Tinubu addressed the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, urging protesters to stand down and allow his administration more time to address their concerns.<\/p>\n
However, demonstrations have persisted in Abuja, Kano, and other parts of the country.<\/p>\n
