President\u00a0Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of qualified Nigerians to the board of the Bank of Industry (BoI) Limited<\/h2>\n

T<\/b>this was made known in a statement on Monday signed by the President\u2019s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.<\/p>\n

President Tinubu appointed Dr. Mansur Muhtar as the Chairman of the BoI board.<\/p>\n

\u201cDr. Muhtar\u2019s career spans decades in finance, international development, public service, and academia.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHe served as Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Development from 2008 to 2010 and was Vice-President, Operations of the Islamic Development Bank, before his recent appointment.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe President expects the new board of the Bank of Industry to work harmoniously, diligently, and with utmost fidelity to the nation in driving the mandate of this critical institution as a development vehicle for providing support for projects that enhance job creation, poverty alleviation, and the socio-economic conditions of Nigerian families,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0the statement reads.<\/p>\n
