{"id":2918,"date":"2024-10-25T09:46:33","date_gmt":"2024-10-25T09:46:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/?p=2918"},"modified":"2024-10-25T09:58:13","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T09:58:13","slug":"our-platform-transition-wont-affect-youfirst-bank-assures-consumers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/2024\/10\/25\/our-platform-transition-wont-affect-youfirst-bank-assures-consumers\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Platform Transition Won\u2019t Affect You,First Bank Assures Consumers."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-header\">\n<h3 class=\"jeg_post_subtitle\">There is no plan for systems upgrades for customers&#8217; applications which are fully operational.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content no-share\">\n<div class=\"content-inner \">\n<p>First Bank Of Nigeria LTD has clarified that its scheduled transition to a new cloud-based procurement and financial platform will not affect banking operations.<\/p>\n<p>This is contained in a statement issued by the Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Folake Ani-Mumuney.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThere is no plan for systems upgrade for customers applications which are fully operational.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThe bank is not experiencing service disruptions and its banking systems, customer transactions and other channels, will not be affected by the planned enhanced supplier platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wish to address a misleading report circulating in the media regarding a system upgrade at FirstBank.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe message which was incorrectly interpreted and reported was sent to, and intended for our vendors only and focused on transitioning from our current I-Supplier Platform (our automated platform that connects us to suppliers) to a new Cloud-based Supplier Platform (world-class platform for managing suppliers), to enable additional capabilities and benefits for our vendors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease be informed that no system upgrade is currently underway, and all our customer applications are fully operational.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not experiencing disruption to our services, and our banking systems, customer transactions, channels, etc, will not be affected by the enhanced supplier platform,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The bank assured its customers of its commitment to seamless service delivery.
