The Special Adviser to President\u00a0Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said on Sunday that his principal is not unfeeling, as described by some Nigerians on social media.<\/h2>\n

According to Onanuga, President Tinubu feels the pain of Nigerians and has assured them that better days are nearer than before.<\/p>\n

The presidential spokesman, who spoke on Channels Television\u2019s Sunday Politics, said his principal is not T-pain, as nicknamed on social media.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Onanuga said Tinubu has not come to inflict pain on Nigerians but to \u201crepair the economy.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said despite galloping inflation,\u00a0\u201cwe are experiencing economic growth, despite inflation, revenues have increased.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

He said\u00a0\u201cThe President is aware that the citizens are going through some difficulties\u201d<\/em>\u00a0but said Tinubu is not aware that some persons have labelled him T-pain on social media as\u00a0\u201cthe President does not read what is on the social media.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Onanuga said,\u00a0\u201cSome people have also responded and called the President a different name. So, as far as I am concerned, it is a non-issue.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSome people out of mischief just say somebody is a T-pain, He (Tinubu) is not T-pain.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe President has never shied away from telling Nigerians that he feels their pain and he is working very hard to make sure that he gives them some relief so that things will get better and this country will get more prosperity.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
