Afolorunikan said the theme of the 2024 national prayer is \u201c<em>Seeking the Intervention of God in Nigeria\u2019s Affairs<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Afolorunikan explained that the event, organized in collaboration with Christian and Muslim leaders, would usher Nigeria into 2025 with renewed hope and purpose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>By the end of this prayer session, we believe that with God\u2019s wisdom, our leaders and citizens will find the strength to confront our common enemies<\/em>,\u201d Afolorunikan said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the NPF director, \u201c<em>Muslims will gather at the\u00a0 National Mosque in Abuja for seven days, during which 313 individuals will recite the Qur\u2019an, culminating in the recitation of the Holy text 2,191 times for national st<\/em>a<em>bility<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Christians will meet at the National Ecumenical Centre for a week of intense prayer, with prayer warriors from various denominations focusing their efforts on the nation\u2019s adversities.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also sai\u00a0 that \u201c<em>extensive outreach had been conducted, including meetings with leaders from the National Mosque, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and traditional leaders such as the Sultan of Sokoto.<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-bot\" class=\"left\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"left relative\"><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The First Lady of Nigeria,\u00a0 Olurenmi Tinubu and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, would lead national prayers to seek God\u2019s intervention in the country\u2019s economic hardship.
