{"id":3499,"date":"2024-12-19T19:16:22","date_gmt":"2024-12-19T19:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/?p=3499"},"modified":"2024-12-19T19:21:03","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T19:21:03","slug":"yuletide-dangote-refinery-slashes-petrol-price-to-n899-50","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/2024\/12\/19\/yuletide-dangote-refinery-slashes-petrol-price-to-n899-50\/","title":{"rendered":"Yuletide: Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Price To N899.50"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit to N899.50 per litre, in a bid to offer Nigerians some relief as the holiday season approaches.<\/p>\n<p>This was contained in a statement issued by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, Anthony Chiejina, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The refinery, Africa\u2019s first privately-owned oil refining facility, had previously cut the price to N970 per litre on November 24.<\/p>\n<p>The latest reduction aims to ease transportation costs during the festive period, a time when Nigerians often face increased travel expenses.<\/p>\n<div id=\"show360playvid\" class=\"360playvidUnit\">\n<div class=\"cleanslate360pv\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Announcing the special purchase offer, Chiejina said consumers can now buy an additional litre of fuel on credit for every litre purchased in cash, provided they secure a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo alleviate transport costs during this holiday season, Dangote Refinery is offering a holiday discount on PMS. From today, our petrol will be available at N899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or SPM.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurthermore, for every litre purchased on a cash basis, consumers will have the opportunity to buy another litre on credit, backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank,\u201d Chiejina said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-container desktop-only margin-top margin-bottom \">\n<div class=\"ad-container-inner\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1652278950647-0\" class=\"punch-admanager\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The refinery thanked Nigerians for their continued patronage and reiterated its commitment to supplying high-quality, environmentally friendly petroleum products at competitive prices.<\/p>\n<p>Chiejina emphasised that the Dangote Refinery is ending Nigeria\u2019s dependence on substandard and blended imported petroleum products, which have historically harmed human health, machinery, and the environment.<b><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit to N899.50 per litre, in a bid to offer Nigerians some relief as the holiday season approaches.
