Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has inaugurated a four-member committee to investigate allegations surrounding the recent recruitment of teachers by the Nasarawa State Teachers\u2019 Service Commission (NSTSC) across the state\u2019s 13 local government areas.<\/p>\n

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Government House in Lafia, the state capital. Addressing the committee, Governor Sule emphasized the need for diligence, impartiality, and transparency in their assignment. He urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by delivering an unbiased and thorough investigation.<\/p>\n

The governor expressed concern over reports that government officials involved in the recruitment process exceeded the approved number of teachers, prompting the immediate suspension of the NSTSC chairman and its members.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis situation is worrisome and capable of tarnishing the image of the government and the state if left unchecked. It is imperative to ensure accountability, transparency, and due diligence in the conduct of government affairs,\u201d Governor Sule stated.<\/p>\n
