According to him, the party encourages poor leadership.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview on Monday on TVC, Sani addressed his feud with El-Rufai, saying his predecessor\u2019s criticism against Tinubu was for selfish reasons. He also challenged politicians who were confident of defeating Tinubu in 2027 to get prepared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost of these politicians that came out and say they are coming as a coalition, they are politicians that were in government only less than two years ago,\u201d Sani said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat did they do when they were in government? They were only fighting for power, not because they could do anything better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course, I also want to make it clear here that if you ask me, when a democratic dispensation, and we have virtually just two and a half years to the next election, and any politician who feels he is popular or he can defeat Bola Ahmed Tinubu or APC \u2014I think they need to go and work very hard and present themselves in the next election, which will be 2027,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Replying in a Tuesday morning post on X, El-Rufai said: \u201cEvery day I see this governor embarrassingly and sycophantically rambling, I used to wonder why? However, confirming that the Federal Government \u2018reimbursements, interventions and grants\u2019 over N150bn have been given selectively to Kaduna by Tinubu, in the last 18 months, now explains everything.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy all means, defend Asiwaju for the conditional cash transfer. Asiwaju has earned it, coming from you. The people of Kaduna State will judge at the right time and place.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-container remove-pseudo\">\n<div class=\"ad-container-inner\">\n<div id=\"ad_placement_incontent_ad_2\" class=\"vanguard-admanager\" data-display-index=\"3\" data-processed=\"true\" data-google-query-id=\"CPb1iPeNqosDFcCEUAYdZVYNGQ\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/9223985\/desktop-2_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In another post, El-Rufai quoted former British Prime Minister Tony Blair as saying some time ago: \u201cAnd in a developing nation, where people struggle to put food on the table, go to school, get rudimentary healthcare, eke out an existence not a career, (social services) delivery can be the difference between life and death; or at least the difference between a life with hope and one without it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey (citizens) want the problems impacting their lives solved or at least mitigated.
