\u00a0Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on Tuesday received a rousing homecoming by her supporters and residents of the Ihima community of Kogi despite the state government\u2019s ban on convoys.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As early as 8 a.m., her supporters from the five local government areas of Kogi Central that Senator Natasha represents gathered at the Ihima community of Okehi Local Government Area (LGA)\u00a0 of Kogi State to welcome the lawmaker.<\/p>\n

Several local musicians took turns entertaining the people who attended the celebration while they awaited the arrival of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.<\/p>\n

After disembarking from the helicopter, the embattled Senator arrived at the place in a white helicopter, eliciting cheers and applause from her teeming supporters.<\/p>\n

She later mounted the podium and addressed the crowd amid cheers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Her remarks were seen as a direct warning to Kogi State Governor\u00a0Usman Ododo<\/strong>, former Governor\u00a0Yahaya Bello<\/strong>, and Senate President\u00a0Godswill Akpabio<\/strong>, whom she accused of orchestrating intimidation tactics against her.<\/section>\n
The senator, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is currently serving a six-month suspension from the Senate for alleged rule violations after she accused Senate President Godswin Akpabio of sexual harassment. .<\/section>\n
Additionally, she faces a potential recall, reportedly backed by members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/section>\n
Akpoti-Uduaghan has been vocal in her criticisms of the political establishment and recently accused Akpabio of harassing her adding to the ongoing tensions.<\/section>\n
Despite the political storm surrounding her, her defiant homecoming signals a continued battle against what she describes as a campaign of suppression.<\/section>\n<\/section>\n
