During a recent interview on Channels Television, Adaramodu dismissed the idea of a part-time parliament, warning that such a move would effectively mean a part-time democracy. “If the parliament is part-time, then it means democracy is part-time,” he emphasised. \u201cThere is no democracy that derides its parliament and still thrives.\u201d<\/p>\n
Adaramodu, a member of the ruling party representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, underscored the vital roles played by members of Nigeria\u2019s legislative chambers\u2014the Senate and the House of Representatives.
