The Nigerian Shippers\u2019 Council (NSC) has announced its eagerness to forge a strategic partnership with the University of Lagos (UNILAG), specifically through its Institute of Maritime Studies (IMS) and Department of Commercial and Industrial Law. This collaboration aims to enhance training initiatives and shape policies that will strengthen Nigeria\u2019s maritime industry.<\/p>\n
This promising development was revealed during a courtesy visit by a UNILAG delegation led by Professor Wale Olawoyin, SAN, head of the Department of Commercial and Industrial Law. The visit took place at the NSC headquarters in Lagos, marking a significant step towards fostering closer ties between academia and industry.<\/p>\n
In welcoming the delegation, NSC\u2019s Executive Secretary and CEO, Akutah Pius, described the proposed partnership as both timely and strategic.
