A tragic incident has rocked Kurmin Kare Village in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, as a police inspector was brutally murdered and his wife abducted in what is suspected to be an ambush.<\/p>\n
According to a report by Zagazola Makama, the victim, identified as Inspector Donfa Chirtip of the Special Protection Unit (SPU) Base 7 in Abuja, was found lifeless on Friday evening in a farmland within the village. He bore a deep cut on his neck, a sign of the brutal nature of the attack.<\/p>\n
Joint patrol teams responded swiftly to the scene, where they discovered the deceased\u2019s body. Early investigations suggest that Inspector Chirtip and his wife, Mrs. Victoria Chirtip, had gone to their farmland earlier that morning around 7:00 a.m. riding on a motorcycle. It is believed that on their return journey, they were ambushed by unidentified assailants.<\/p>\n
The victim’s body was evacuated to Doka General Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed his death. The body has since been deposited in the hospital mortuary as investigations continue.<\/p>\n
