{"id":7676,"date":"2025-07-15T09:55:51","date_gmt":"2025-07-15T09:55:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/?p=7676"},"modified":"2025-07-15T09:56:19","modified_gmt":"2025-07-15T09:56:19","slug":"nigerian-petrol-marketers-set-to-reduce-fuel-prices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/2025\/07\/15\/nigerian-petrol-marketers-set-to-reduce-fuel-prices\/","title":{"rendered":"Nigerian petrol marketers Set to Reduce Fuel Prices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Nigerian Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria has announced a plan to reduce the premium motor spirit price from Monday, following Dangote Refinery\u2019s latest fuel ex-depot price reduction.<\/p>\n<p>The National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Abubakar Maigandi, disclosed\u00a0 in an interview on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>This comes as Dangote Refinery on Thursday slashed its ex-depot petrol prices to N820 per litre from N840.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-18\">\n<div align=\"center\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1524595905268-5\" data-google-query-id=\"CLKhzrHLvo4DFZyD_QcdMFgTKg\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/14001636\/DP_InsidePost_MPU_2_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Reacting to the development, Maigandi said IPMAN members plan to follow in the footsteps of the 650,000 barrels-per-day refinery.<\/p>\n<p>He noted IPMAN will be meeting on Monday to announce a downward revision of its petrol price.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether Dangote Refinery or ex-depot petrol price, our members will also reduce.
