{"id":8148,"date":"2025-08-07T12:45:54","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T12:45:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/?p=8148"},"modified":"2025-08-07T12:46:03","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T12:46:03","slug":"ncaa-might-blacklist-kwam-1-for-six-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/2025\/08\/07\/ncaa-might-blacklist-kwam-1-for-six-months\/","title":{"rendered":"NCAA Might Blacklist KWAM 1 For Six Months"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"grid-content-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"content-box-wrapper content-area\">\n<div class=\"entry-content-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"entry-content-inner-wrapper\">\n<p>Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is set to blacklist popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM1), following his airport drama with officials of Value Jet airline at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>This was announced by Michael Achimugu, the NCAA\u2019s director of public affairs and consumer protection, during a press briefing on Thursday.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-container adsense margin-top margin-bottom \">\n<div class=\"ad-container-inner\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>He said, \u201cWhat I must assure the general public is that everybody involved in this will be brought to book.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-container\">\n<div class=\"ad-container-inner\">\n<div id=\"desktop_1\" class=\"vanguard-admanager\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1731826620397-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1740477577484-0\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cAs we speak, the passenger is going to be blacklisted for the next six months from flying in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAviation rules are made for everybody, for the protection of everybody. These rules are global. There is nothing about the rules that is to antagonise any passenger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, we will do everything we can to get to the root of it. Everybody who needs to be punished or sanctioned will receive justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the NCAA has written to the attorney-general of the federation and the inspector-general of police to initiate legal proceedings against the musician.<\/p>\n<p>When asked if the artiste will be prosecuted given his closeness to President Bola Tinubu, and Festus Keyamo, the minister of aviation and aerospace development, the director said the NCAA is committed to the rule of law, and no individual \u2014 regardless of status \u2014 is exempt from due process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is set to blacklist popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM1), following his airport drama with officials of Value Jet airline at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
