{"id":8227,"date":"2025-08-11T11:48:40","date_gmt":"2025-08-11T11:48:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/?p=8227"},"modified":"2025-08-11T11:48:48","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T11:48:48","slug":"adeboye-seeks-n10bn-donations-from-10-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/2025\/08\/11\/adeboye-seeks-n10bn-donations-from-10-members\/","title":{"rendered":"Adeboye Seeks N10bn donations from 10 Members"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has appealed to his congregation for substantial financial contributions, requesting donations amounting to billions and millions of naira to support church projects.<\/p>\n<p>The call for such large sums has generated significant attention and debate among members and observers.<\/p>\n<p>In a widely circulated video from a recent Redeemed Christian Church of God 73rd annual convention at Redemption City in Ogun state on Saturday, Adeboye specifically urged at least 10 members to each donate \u20a61 billion and another 100 members to contribute \u20a6100 million each, highlighting the need for these funds to further the church\u2019s objectives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to build many more dormitories. For example, if you look at the choir\u2019s altar, it was built to accommodate 10,000 of them, but they have outgrown the altar; some of them are sitting on the floor, and many times, the camera does not cover them.<\/p>\n<div id=\"show360playvid\" class=\"360playvidUnit\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cWe have to enlarge the altar before December. Also, our water system, which has served us for over 20 years, will need to be upgraded power supply as we expand our dormitories and sewage systems.
