{"id":8277,"date":"2025-08-13T18:26:49","date_gmt":"2025-08-13T18:26:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/?p=8277"},"modified":"2025-08-13T18:26:59","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T18:26:59","slug":"kano-community-bans-late-night-boyfriend-girlfriend-meetings-tinted-car-romance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/2025\/08\/13\/kano-community-bans-late-night-boyfriend-girlfriend-meetings-tinted-car-romance\/","title":{"rendered":"Kano community bans late-night boyfriend, girlfriend meetings, tinted car romance"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\" class=\"left relative\">\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-7\">\n<div align=\"center\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1500386953281-8\" data-google-query-id=\"CLisl_aziI8DFW7xEQgddaUvtw\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/14001636\/DP_Leaderboard_1_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Sharada community in Kano State has introduced 29 new local laws to curb rising crime and immoral activities.<\/p>\n<p>One of the rules bans boyfriend-girlfriend meetings after 10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Announcing the decision, the village head, Alhaji Iliyasu Muazu Sharada, stated that the laws were agreed upon following discussions with ward heads and community elders.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-18\">\n<div align=\"center\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1524595905268-5\" data-google-query-id=\"CLqsl_aziI8DFW7xEQgddaUvtw\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/14001636\/DP_InsidePost_MPU_2_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The new regulations also include a ban on lovers meeting in tinted vehicles and restrictions on horse riding during wedding celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, lawyers and house agents must obtain approval from the village head before renting out any property.<\/p>\n<p>Community elders said the rules are meant to improve security, pointing out that criminals often use late-night meetings and tinted cars as a cover for robbery and sexual harassment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have arrested men pretending to be with girlfriends, only to discover they were engaged in immoral or criminal acts,\u201d said Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, a resident.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the measures would help separate genuine couples from those with bad intentions.<\/p>\n<p>Sharada, which has both residential and industrial areas, has been facing more security problems in recent times.<\/p>\n<p>Elders believe the new laws will help restore moral values and protect young people from bad influences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe cannot allow activities that lead to immorality or crime.
