President Bola Tinubu has appointed Idris Olorunnimbe, the founder of The Temple, as chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Olorunnimbe was previously appointed as the board chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) in March,but his appointment was withdrawn. In July, and was replaced by Tanko Umaru Al-Makura, a former governor of Nasarawa<\/p>\n

President Tinubu has approved his appointment as Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC.<\/p>\n

The Executive Vice Chairman of the Commission, Dr Aminu Waida, will continue to serve in that capacity.<\/p>\n

President Tinubu also approved the appointments of the members of the board of the NCC.<\/p>\n

The members include Abraham Oshidami, Executive Commissioner, Technical Services; Rimini Makama, Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management; Hajia Maryam Bayi, Former Director, Human Capital and Administration; Col Abdulwahab Lawal (retd); Senator Lekan Mustafa; Chris Okorie, and Princess Oforitsenere Emiko.<\/p>\n
