Fellow Nigerians!<\/strong><\/p>\n As Nigeria marks another Independence anniversary, the air is not filled with the scent of celebration, but with the thick smog of apprehension. The question on every lip is a painful one: at 65, is this a birthday to celebrate, or a funeral to mourn?<\/p>\n Look around you \u2014 our country has gone 20 years backwards! Not because we lack resources. Not because we lack talent. But because we keep putting criminals and men with dirty baggage in power.<\/p>\n When you elect a man with a dark past, you are not voting for them \u2014 you are voting for his blackmailers! The holders of their past secret, they can do anything, pay any amount to keep their secret, secret. Every secret he hides becomes a chain on his neck. Every dirty deal he did becomes a weapon in the hands of those who control him. And so, instead of fighting for the people, he dances to the tune of his masters, the powerful nations, just to cover up his shame. And who pays the price? You! I! The entire nation!<\/strong><\/p>\n Tell me, how can a compromised leader fight corruption? How can a man drowning in scandals deliver justice? He cannot! He is too busy covering his tracks while the country burns.<\/p>\n And let me remind you: the body language of a leader reflects on the nation!<\/strong> When the head is rotten, the whole body stinks! Look at Nigeria today \u2014 killings everywhere, kidnappings everywhere, organ harvesting, extortion, abuse, molestation, reckless shootings, humiliation of the poor, people\u2019s hard-earned money stolen and dumped like trash. This lawlessness is not random \u2014 it is a reflection of the leader at the top.<\/p>\n But it doesn\u2019t stop there! When our leaders are corrupt, it is not only Nigerians that take advantage \u2014 even the World Bank, the IMF, and the Western powers<\/strong> join in the blackmail. They know the leader\u2019s dirty past, they know his evil secrets, and they use it to control him. Instead of negotiating for the people, he bows to them. Instead of defending Nigeria\u2019s interests, he sells us cheaply. They loan us money, they milk our economy, they dictate our policies \u2014 and your so-called leader cannot say no, because he is already in chains.<\/p>\n So I ask you: how can a leader who is enslaved by his past free a nation? How can a leader controlled by foreign masters bring dignity to his people? He cannot! He will keep dancing to their tune while Nigeria suffers.<\/p>\n That is why I say: you cannot elect a criminal and expect miracles! You cannot put a thief in charge and expect protection! You cannot put a man chained by secrets in power and expect freedom!<\/strong><\/p>\n \n Nigerians, the time has come to break this cycle. We must rise and demand leaders with clean hands, leaders of integrity, leaders who cannot be blackmailed by anyone, group\u2014 not by local thieves, not by corrupt cabals, not by the World Bank, not by the IMF, not by the Western world! Only then will we truly be free.<\/p>\n Our future is in our hands! Our children\u2019s destiny is in our hands! And I tell you today \u2014 if we choose right, Nigeria will rise again. But if we keep electing criminals, selfish individuals with past baggage,\u00a0 we will keep suffering, we will keep crying, we will keep going backwards!<\/p>\n The choice is ours. The future is ours. Please do not sell it again, like we have been selling. Please do not waste it. Choose leaders that cannot be bought, cannot be blackmailed, cannot be silenced! That is the only way Nigeria will move forward!<\/strong><\/p>\n \n At 65, many Nigerians are struggling under rising food prices, fuel costs, and unemployment. In your opinion, has independence delivered economic freedom to ordinary citizens? Unfortunately, Nigeria do not have only the social cost of living and enemies to fight for, but their lives to fight for.. As killings, organ harvesting, kidnapping, and fraudulent souls are now part of our society.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Independence for Nigeria has largely not availed much for ordinary Nigerians. Most especially when compared to other economies, we were at the same level in 1960. Nations like South Korea and Malaysia, etc have done much more for themselves and improved the lot of their citizens’ lives.<\/p>\n WHAT should I say now?
