{"id":9213,"date":"2025-10-25T18:05:06","date_gmt":"2025-10-25T18:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/?p=9213"},"modified":"2025-10-25T18:05:32","modified_gmt":"2025-10-25T18:05:32","slug":"convention-pdp-unveils-13-member-screening-panel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beadysword.com.ng\/blog\/2025\/10\/25\/convention-pdp-unveils-13-member-screening-panel\/","title":{"rendered":"Convention: PDP unveils 13-member screening panel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has unveiled a 13-member National Convention Screening Committee to screen aspirants for national offices ahead of the party\u2019s much-anticipated 2025 Elective National Convention, scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued on Saturday by the Chairman of the National Convention Organising Committee, NCOC, and Governor of Adamawa State, Umaru Fintiri, the screening exercise is slated to take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the committee will be chaired by former Ondo State gubernatorial candidate Eyitayo Jegede.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-18\">\n<div align=\"center\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1524595905268-5\" data-_bound=\"1\" data-_defined=\"1\" data-google-query-id=\"CNTH0rr3v5ADFT6T_QcdZc0eLg\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/14001636\/DP_InsidePost_MPU_2_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Jegede will be assisted by Hon. Mohammed L. S.
