A woman leader in a community that has come under a series of attacks in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area has narrated how Fulani militants have been raping and defiling women and young girls on their farms.<\/p>\n

The women leader, who made the allegations while speaking with a fact-finding team from Equipping The Persecuted Organisation, a group that helps to bring assistance and attention to persecution against Christians around the world, said the women in the community have been subjected to humiliating experiences at the hands of their Fulani conquerors.<\/p>\n

The women leader stated that the Fulani herdsmen would waylay the women on their farms, gang-rape them, and if anyone resisted, they would be slaughtered like animals.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur women have been going through a lot of humiliation at the hands of the Fulani herdsmen who would waylay them on their farms, gang-rape them, and anyone who dares to resist is slaughtered like an animal,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t sleep in our homes, we can\u2019t go to the farm, we can\u2019t go out and work for our daily bread. They have been hunting us as if we were animals. Even when the women are on the farms, they would go and rape them. Even the girl-child, they rape them too.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have the details of women and girls who have been raped. There are so many. We have the data of the women they have raped and those they have killed.<\/p>\n
