The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released an updated timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections. The party has also published the bank accounts where aspirants can pay for the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.

The notice was issued on Monday by the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja. It was signed by the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, and confirmed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

The party said the revised timetable follows the Constitution of Nigeria, the Electoral Act 2026, and INEC’s own timetable for the 2027 elections.

Key Dates

• Sale of forms: April 25 to May 2, 2026
• Submission of completed forms: Closes on May 4, 2026
• Screening of aspirants: May 6 to May 9, 2026 (covering State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential aspirants)
• Screening appeals (State House of Assembly and House of Representatives): May 12 to May 13, 2026
• Primary elections begin: May 15, 2026, starting with the House of Representatives, followed by the Senate, State Houses of Assembly, the governorship, and presidential primaries, ending on May 23, 2026

Cost of Forms

• House of Assembly: N1 million (Expression of Interest) and N5 million (Nomination)
• House of Representatives: N1 million and N9 million
• Senate: N3 million and N17 million
• Governorship: N10 million and N40 million
• Presidential: N30 million and N70 million

Female aspirants, youth, and physically challenged aspirants will pay for the Expression of Interest and 50 percent of the prescribed Nomination fees for each position.
