Maduka University Earns Full NUC Accreditation for All Seven Programmes

Maduka University, located in Ekwegbe-Nsukka, has achieved a major academic milestone. The National Universities Commission (NUC) carried out an accreditation exercise for seven academic programmes at the university between October and December 2025. At the end of the exercise, all seven programmes received Full Accreditation Status.

The accredited programmes are Accounting, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Economics, and International Relations. Their scores ranged from 84.8% to 97.0%, reflecting strong performance across the board. The accreditation is valid until 2030.

This outcome confirms that the university meets the quality assurance standards set by the NUC. Some of the strengths noted during the exercise include a solid curriculum, adequate learning resources, and a clear commitment to academic excellence.

With this full accreditation, stakeholders can be more confident in the quality of education offered at Maduka University. It also reinforces the institution’s adherence to national standards.
